to get the best deal you need to go there with a local. The highlight is jumping from the trees into the lagoon. But the area around the lagoon is very run down and an unpleasant place to spend any amount of time.
Not at all like I imagined. To commercialised and surround by tin shack fence. The people who "worked" there were a little pushy to say the least. We did not enjoy it at all. Maybe if we could have explored a little more this might have been a better review.
Beautiful lagoon, just difficult to get to. Went with a friend on our own so it was difficult to find. There really is no where to sit and spend time there. You walk up and get an amazing look and the most beautiful color aqua blue water i have ever seen.
If you are prepared to explore with your own kayak or just jum in and swim - then this is the place for you. Otherwise be prepared to sapend tourist prices for a short boat ride around the lagoon and then to Monkey Island.
On route to Boston Bay a group of us stopped at the Blue Lagoon to check it out. The local sellers were friendly and not overly pushy with selling their wares to us. We took a guided rowboat around the lagoon and out along the row of exclusive properties towards monkey island. On the return, we were all hot and... 更多
Astonishing blue water; swimming in a 57 metre deep lagoon extraordinary. Dived off boat straight into the water - mixture of warm salt water from the sea and cold fresh water from a stream.
We visited the Blue Lagoon as part of a day trip. We spent an hour here which was amplr time to enjoy the scenery. We paid $10 to go on a boat trip which was great and took us to monkey island. The lagoon itself is beautiful and is really interesting. Once you are here there isn't a great deal... 更多

The lagoon are not a lagoon, but sea. It's like a cove very depth. Mr Fox, a boatman of the lagoon told that the depth reaches 65 meters. Is a good local to dive, swim or just look the clear of water and see the aquarium fish that naturally occur there. It's amazing to see tha blue water, and a... 更多
We love this place. Miss the restaurant that was destroyed by the hurricane. You can drive there and don't have to go by boat. Parking along the road. The swimming is great. Definitely a must if you come to Port Antonio.
We hired a boat and spent about 2 hours on the Monkey Island then rode around the Lagoon. The Island was very small with no area to sit/lay down. The water was crystal clear but cold. I think an hour boat ride around the Lagoon might be just enough.
I pray that they do not start charging to enter this place. The water is both warm and cold at the same time. It is amazing. Never experienced anything like. It is something I will tell my grandchildren.
This place is a real gem, once of the free and great attractions of Jamaica. The water is so refreshing and deep blue! Wow please let me go back again :)
