We came to this beach during our stay at the cliffs in Negril. The water is very calm and there were only 4 other people on the beach with us. It was a nice relaxing change from the busy 7 mile beach. We ordered delicious drinks and spent the day chilling water. We also heard that they have great food... 更多
what a beautiful bay, the water is completely different than that of Negril yet just as amazing, stop at the bar and have a drink, snorkel, whatever your hearts desire, the staff are wonderful hosts, there are cabins to stay in also but we've not done that
This was our first trip to Half Moon Bay. It's not far from Negril so it wasn't a long trip to get there. It is very picturesque, however, the water's bottom is hard on the feet, so bring your water shoes or rent them there. We enjoyed the live music on the beach sitting in comfortable beach chairs. We ate... 更多
A $J200 route taxi ride from Negril ans small entrance fee for a quiet day on a beautiful small beach. Restaurant and gift shop right there, no vendors, and live music several evenings each week. Use the beach beds or hammock, swim, take a boatride out to the island restaurant nearby (we didn't so I can't. comment). Half Moon is... 更多
Visited on catamaran after a snorkelling stop, got off boat and waded to shore, be careful as there are some rocks on the shoreline which were not visible and very slippery, not easy to negotiate with bare feet. Had the BBQ lobster lunch, FABULOUS. Overall nice venue for a beach lunch with a bar and toilet facilities.
Lush little hidden away eco-tourism beach & restaurant. Well worth $5 for getting away from the main strip. Glad we snagged good shade and beds at 11am before small tour came in and livened the place up a little. Not a place to party but no better place to chillax at!
Stayed at Half Moon Bay Hotel which is a large property of about 480 acres including a golf course, tennis courts, some shopping, horseback riding, sailing. Great sunrises and sunsets
We were lucky enough to have a private beach day at the Half Moon with our Blues in Jamaica group in January, featuring live music with Terry Gillespie, Owen and friends ... mouth watering barbequed lobster and delicacies ... white sand under our feet ... and the personal touches of a family owned and operated resort in the lush green... 更多
Basic small clean beach in a small bay. Water calm and plenty of fish in water. Bar/restaurant on site. Reasonable priced food and we were happy with the taste/quality. Bring your bug spray. They come out around 4pm. Lots of them. Been going for 17 years and quiet IF a boat trip or large group or party not booked in... 更多
