I enjoyed being at Shaw Park Garden, lots of trees, flowers, it was just relaxing. The place was just cool and filled my lungs with exquisite air, wish I didn't have to leave. OMG!!! The falls, the water falls, I have no word for this, I am trying to make up my own word but I dont want to spoil... 更多
We asked our shuttle driver to take us to Shaw Park Gardens but detoured next door to Konoko Falls; we weren't disappointed with KF, but after reading the review of Shaw Park, i'm sorry we didn't stick to our plan because we're avid garden and bird admirers; Next time we visit JA, we're definitely going to Shaw Park -- it... 更多
Shaw Park Gardens are the gardens of former hotel and are now a park/botanic garden. There are many trees, flowering shrubs and plants. A feast of colour. Our guide, Ronald Hawthorne was excellent. A former gardener at the park with a great knowledge of the plants and history of the gardens. The waterfall is stunning. Not as spectacular as Dunns... 更多
Shaw Park Botanical Garden is a beautiful well maintained horticultural garden. Stunning flowers and plants that grow to be so much bigger than in northern climates. Looks like what the island would have looked like before humans found it. Guides are charming and very knowledgeable, gave us an enjoyable tour and went slow enough for me to manage the steps.... 更多
Well worth the time, Shaw Park Gardens and Waterfalls is a photographer's dream.. Book it in advance and know that you will have a great experience.
Friendly staff and very knowledgeable it was very interesting the learn both some history and get a glimpse of of the grand era and also the botany of Jamaica
This is a must see place for nature lovers. They have all types of birds. You can also feed the birds and workers provide you with the foods. Also, the water fall is smaller compare to Dunn River Falls, but the view fro the top is awesome.
I was staying in a hotel nearby so I walked to this beautiful park to bird watch. Garfield Campbell was my guide. He knew the local names of the birds. I had just purchased THE BIRDS OF JAMAICA at the Catalyst Book Store at 29 Main Street Shop#44, Ocho Rios. (The 3 or 4 book stores in Montego Bay did... 更多
We visited the gardens, which in the 1920s were part of a hotel, at the time that we were there we were the only visitors.. Bernard showed us around, he was great..
