A lovely place to visit - peaceful, interesting & certainly different. Cors Caon is a Nature Reserve & there are several different walks to embark on. All have clear & interesting information along the way about the habitat, flora & fauna that can be found . Provides extremely interesting & different walks some are boardwalks & wheelchair/push chair friendly. They... 更多
Even on a grey and wet day , this ancient bog is beautiful with many flowers and birds as well as wet water and bog plants and grasses . The board walks will take you out into the bog and provide walks of varied distances .Car parking is available .Use your sat nav as did not see many sign posts
I spent a lot of my childhood here and now as an adult I come back as often as I can. A perfect way to escape from the modern world on a Sunday, beautiful scenery in every season and so many different varieties of plant and bird life to see. The only downside is there are no bins in which... 更多
We visited two parts of this large site. It is well managed with boardwalks for the majority of the way. When we parked at the official car park and walked around we were thrilled to see a male Hen Harrier flying in the distance. (We had a great guide with an equally great 'Scope' who first spotted this bird). We... 更多
I never thought I'd say that and the locals laughed when they found I was going but it really was worth it. Walk the boardwalk - it's a nice bit of exercise and doesn't take long. The information boards tell all about it. We had a pleasant time.
A very interesting site, wasn't sure what to expect and knew nothing about this site before we visited. Boardwalk was great, and we enjoyed the walks, visit was spoilt by lots of dog mess on railway track walk.
What a lovely walk, so much history and wildlife to see. The children enjoyed bug hunting and the dog enjoyed the fresh air. Visited 3 times whilst in the area!

Having a flourishing bird population in our own garden we are always interested to see new species. Cors Caron is the perfect place for budding twitchers. We managed to see several different birds in an amazing landscape. The raised boardwalk made it very accessible to all, with other longer walks for the more adventurous.
