Welcomed by the amazing tour guides and drawn into the wonderful world of smells and taste if you don't enjoy your visit you simply don't have any physical sensory perceptions in your body - you are a zombie!
I am a bit slow writing this review. But this place was brilliant, we visited from a cruise ship and had a guided tour, with so much info. Would visit again very interesting.
Stopped at the spice gardens on a tour of the island. My favorite stop. Guide walked around the gardens with us and explained all the different herbs and spices and their uses. really pleasant and informative! definitely worth a stop!
Very interesting tour of the garden giving us an opportunity to identify herbs and learn much more about their uses.By sharing your experiences, you're helping travellers make better choices and plan their dream trips. Thank you!
pros - Lots of local plants to see and smell. cons - The guide didn't seem that interested in doing the tour. - Grounds need some TLC. If you're in the area, it makes a nice stop.
This beautiful garden is the place to spend even a rainy afternoon. The path around the garden passes all of their beautiful plantings. We arrived late and the staff still accommodated us and took us on the tour. It was so interesting to learn about all the different herbs, plants and fruits.
This is a nice tour of the spice gardens with plenty of opportunity to smell the spices. Stay on the path - my husband got off of it and was bitten by red ants - it's a good thing there was an aloe plant nearby! There's an opportunity to buy prepackaged spices at the end of the tour. Nice experience.
Whilst a tour of Laura's herb garden isn't an activity that will fill your day it's well worth a visit if you're passing by. The staff are very knowledgeable and have lots of interesting facts about the herbs and spices that grow there.
