We only snorkeled at the reef, and didn't spend time at the beach. They had a lot of rain the day before, so the water wasn't as clear as we expected, and we didn't see as many fish as we have on other islands in the Caribbean. Toilets, picnic table and small snack bar.
The warning is about the "beach". There isn't one. Other reviews have mentioned pebbles. They were really pretty large rounded rocks. The walk to the snorkeling spot is not too bad, but getting into (and out of) the water is not easy. But once in - what a great snorkel. The bubbles are cool. The water is clear. The fish... 更多
we ended up making a dive here including it with 2 other dive spots. It was very unique and we actually had a great dive. We saw a frog fish and manta shrimp on this dive. the champagne area was cool with all the geo thermal activity. It was a fun dive.

Hot water coming our of the sea floor was a novel experience. A good soak, and a bar to refresh. Also next to a church that is well worth visiting.
Took a day trip off cruise ship. Short cab ride. Friendly locals. Bring Water Shoes!!! This beach is very rocky. The bubbling coral is quite a sight.
Went here on a scuba diving excursion. Reef not in good, vibrant condition. When we got to the volcanic portion - champagne beach, the reef was brown. It was kinda cool hearing the bubbles activity as we approached and feeling the water temperature rise. This activity is in shallow water so it is also popular with snorkeling. On this day... 更多
We went here relatively early in the morning, to avoid the crowds who may arrive when there is a big cruise ship on the docks in Roseau for the day. It's in all the tourist guides. Yes, the are a few bubbly spots in the sea (hence the name), which you reach by swimming-over a few minutes from the beach.... 更多
