The water was cool and enjoyed this after group had completed boiling lake trek. You need to be a confident swimmer and comfortable in enclosed spaces to do this . I was a little scared but proud that i had done it and enjoyed the experience.
We arrived on the Vela a motor/sail boat from Island Windjammer. We were on a 12 night cruise of the Leeward Islands. We visited 10 different islands and for us Dominica was by far the best. We took an all day tour of the Titou Gorge which was very beautiful. The water was cool and very refreshing and amazing view... 更多
We were on a P&O Caribbean Cruise Feb/Mar 16 on the Azura. We being my husband who is 64 and myself 59. This was our second cruise and after talking to others we decided to be bold and book a few trips ourselves. After reading some really good reviews about Bumpiing Tours (yes, it is spelt properly, it was a... 更多
We had heard good things about the Titou Gorge, but could not believe how amazing it was! We got there before 10 am and we were the only people there. I would highly recommend getting there early before a crowd takes away from the scenery!
Titou Gorge offers an opportunity to swim through the gorge up to a waterfall. You can climb up the first waterfall to the second one although this will depend on the season you are there. This is easily accessible from the car park and offers a good alternative for those who don't want to carry out the challenging and slightly... 更多
The attraction is more about the getting there. Drive up mountainous roads, walk up a canyon, fight huge crowds, get in chilly water, swim against a strong current and look, there is a water fall! It was fun and interesting. If they tell you not to take your fins, do it anyway. As you get close to the falls, the... 更多
This was a really great place. Prepare for a cold start...as you quickly forget the chills when you see inside the gorge...take a mask if you have, nice to look below and see the depth and clarity. Go straight to waterfall...a rejuvenating swim at least.
It was beautiful. Even if you are not a great swimmer you can do it, they give you a life jacket and help you all the way. do not miss it. I did it in a tour with Nature isle explorer, and could not be happier I picked them . They are awesome!!!!
This is kind of a cool thing. In the middle of the jungle, a big gorge filled with crystal clear water appears. Our kids were able to swim in the gorge and we enjoyed a half hour of time in this stop on the way to Trafalgar Falls.
