We were the only people on this beach ...our son and his fiancé, daughter and son-in-law and our 5 month old grandson. So no fighting for the sun thatched shade :-). Whilst we snorkelled which was pretty full of fish our daughter swum with our grandson and wrote their names in the sand. It felt like our own private beach.... 更多
Compelled to share my frustrations around picking up other garbage so we could find a space to enjoy the beach, in part the island lacks bins. No bins, I suppose it's tough to be eco friendly... Decent vis gave us spectacular schools of fishes and a nice afternoon back drop.
What a find! We had a wonderful time swimming and sunbathing here. Very safe as their is a security guard watching the parking lot. Afterwards we thought we would have a beer and a snack, but we got much more than we bargained for. The restaurant owner and his wife not only offer boat tours (we didn't go but all... 更多
It is cute beach, and there is some good diving. I have heard about Sinking ship close by (5 min walk in good footwear) where you can wreck dive. However, I recommend go to Knip beach where you can take in the Caribbean kind of vacation.
It's all about he snorkeling for us. Nice beach with palapa and picnic tables. Water is murky due to a little Salina on a he right hand side. At the point on the left hand side (a bit of a swim) is a nice patch of coral with a good bit of diversity.
The rate is for the atmosphere and food served in GoodLife Captain restaurant. Fantastic food, perfectly served, fabulous taste. We ordered mahi fish. There are no words to express how fantastic the dinner was. Look at the photo and try to feel it !!! Captain is a very friendly guy who really loves his profession!!! If you want to try... 更多
This is a review of just the beach/swimming area. I know you can take tours with Captain Goodlife, but the beach has gravely sand that is full of garbage (glass, pieces of plastic forks, etc). There is a nice gradual slope into the water, which the kids liked but to snorkel you have to swim way out and the water... 更多
Playa Santa Cruz is a beach on the Island with the most captivating story. It is the home base of the best diver and submarine world expert Juni Obersi a.k.s. Captain Goodlife. Meeting this wonderful and 100 % authentic guy will leave a lasting impression on your life. He is THE choice for 'special' tours to places you can't reach... 更多
You've heard of the famous "Blue Room" for snorkeling? Well be sure to also eat at Captain Goodlife's ristorante there with fresh-caught fish. Ps, best way to the Blue Room is on the Captain's "Antonella" boat. You won't forget this guy or this beach of his ristorante!
This beach was nearly deserted, with the exception of stray dogs. Garbage was laying around, including a soiled condom which greeted us as we stepped out of the car. Beach was full of coral, but no more so than some other beaches on Curacao. We decided to move to another beach after a few minutes.
