If you want to know all the beaches in the island, this one should be in the list, however, if you have time constraints, than you can skip it. Nothing special if compared to Both Kenepa, Cas Abou, Jan Thiel, Kalki, etc.
Playa Santa Cruz is home to a quaint waterfront restaurant run by Capt. Goodlife and his wife. As you enter the beach, look to your left for the restaurant. The fresh seafood is superbly prepared. We enjoyed grilled mahi and pan-seared red snapper.....both were fabulous. Also, Capt. Goodlife takes daily trips at 1pm and 3pm to the Blue Room and... 更多
We only came here to see the Blue Room (A cave we reviewed separately from this review). And we're SO glad we did! My wife and I rented a 2 person Kayak ($35) from Captain Good Life (right on the beach, left side) and set off to find the Blue Room. As for the beach itself, it looked pretty nice.... 更多
We went to about 8 beaches on our trip. This was probably our least favorite. It was the only place where we saw a good amount of trash. It seemed kind of run down. We didn't eat at Captain Goodlife's restaurant, but we did go chat with him. He's a character. Unfortunately, his boat was broken and he couldn't take... 更多

There might have been changing rooms or bathrooms but... 更多
While making a tour of the island we had decided to stop for a while on the Santa Cruz beach which was almost empty when we arrived. The beach is big with a nice landscape but unfortunately their were a lot of wastes on the beach especially because the trashes were full and the dog where taking out of it... 更多
Always be prepared for some trash at the local beaches. That said, Santa Cruz beach is a good one. Parking is easy and Captain Good Life is right there on the beach offering lots of different rental options or boat trips and a small restaurant right there in his house.
We wanted to access the blue cave and do a little snorkeling around the area. He rented us a kayak for a small fee and told us where to go. He welcomed us into his house and made us a pizza. It was very delicious. This is a good area for snorkeling and divers.
We took a Mangrove Kayak trip with Ryan DeJongh from Santa Cruz and it was a definite highlight of our trip. This is a local beach. We were there on a Sunday morning and the beach was in full swing with lots of locals, very few tourists. The parking lot was full by 11 am. Returning from the kayak tour,... 更多
