Punda is part of Willemstad, Curaçao, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and understandably so! The colors of the buildings, the shopping, the food and bars, there is something for everyone. The highlights are the Floating Market, where boats from Venezuela come to sell fresh produce and fish. Also, the Old Market is a fabulous place and definitely the... 更多
Punda is basically a collection of gift shops where cruise ship tourists are expected to spend their money (and yes, some shops seriously advertise with "recommended by major cruises"). It's nice to walk through it and explore the smaller streets, you can even find a few places where you can eat and drink for civilized prices. But overall it's an... 更多
Great place to buy your fruit and vegetables and do any other shopping. I would stay away from the restaurants along the harbor unless you want to get a drink, the food was not that great and over priced. Best place to get food is the old food market where a bunch of local cooks prepare traditional meals, delicious and... 更多
Great area to shop and meet the locals. Fresh fish market and luxury shopping all in the same area! Easy to navigate and explore the history while picking out a new Omega!
Punda Punda is breath taking, energy building, motivating and inspiring! People crossing pontoon bridge and other small bridges; some very hurried, some chatting, some laughing, some embracing, greeting, and buying from Venezuelan floating markets, some rushing in small stores to buy decorations. I saw medium clothing stores, big commerce buildings, small streets, colorful buildings, colors, colors and more colors with... 更多
Punda in Willemstad is nice, we just walked around and loved it. The stores are mainly clothing or some electronics. souvenirs and more like that. Punda has an alley where an artist Nena Sanchez has created some art it was a nice photo spot for us. As well as the bright buildings in all colors! We walked a lot had... 更多
we walked all around town and explored the shops and restaurants. And no one bothered us. the town clock is beautiful to hear the bell peal on the hour and the little figures of people and animals that pop out and disappear once the chiming is over is a must see.
What can you say about Punda, it´s a very nice town, almost everything is in good conditions, painted very "traditional". I stayed there for a couple of days for a some bussiness and I had a very nice time, by day you have your shopping centers right there, little cafes and all the good restaurants where you can have breakfast,... 更多
Everyone so nice, not matter what store we went in to, some local stores mixed with brand name stores. Stores everywhere. The only bad part is that each store opens and closes at different times. We were there around 4 pm, some stores and restaurants were already closed. Love local vendors as well
It's directly across from the floating boat market in a round bulding. You will find lots of souvenirs and an assortment of other goods from local vendors. It's an authentic Curacao experience. The locals are very friendly and appreciative.
