interesting architecture but though we could (and did) go into the interior courtyard we couldn't really see too much as these are still functioning government offices.
Fort Amsterdam is an interesting building for a short visit. It was built around 1630 to protect St Anna Bay. it had 4 Bastions and thick walls. I believe it is on UNESCO list of world heritage sites. The Dutch Reformed Church was built in 1769 and can be visited for a reasonable fee. Could not get a good photo... 更多
This area is not well promoted but it is an interesting series of connected buildings including the old church. There is little or no signage and details of the history which is a pity. The church was built in 1768 displayed on its wall and that is about it. A short visit is all that is needed.
Good Historical spot. Good photo ops but not much else here. Still it's not much out of the way, so stop by and snap some good Facebook photo's.
