A popular beach with the locals. I nice easy dive sight to access and a pretty dive . Nice white sand and a gentle slope into the sea.
Bachelor's is a tiny bach in the Belem area of Bonaire. As a beach, i's nothing too remarkable: a small strip of sand and good snorkeling opportunities. As a dive site, it's slightly better than the average south side beach off Bonaire. Because it's easily accessible, the site has been a little overdived. The attraction here is the occasional dolphin... 更多
Definitely a locals beach...lovely for a nice afternoon swim and picnic. Easy to find and stairs that access the crystal clear blue water. Lots of parking and a few covered picnic tables. The beach is small and unusable at times due to tide but an incredible spot to view the stunning island sunsets.
We didn't expect to see nice beaches in Bonaire, but this beach had a vibe and a great view of Klein Bonaire. It was much cleaner then expected.
Very nice beach but not a beach to sit on. The parking is on street level and you walk down a 7 step stairs to step on the beach or directly into the water (depends on the level of the sea). The waters are very clear and full of different kind of fish. To snorkel and dive this is very... 更多
The beach was close to our rental and had a marked dive site so we ventured for a short dive before refilling our tanks. Although the site information indicates there is stair access, the stairs do not go all the way to the beach. The sand is very fine and played havoc with the zippers on our dive gear. While... 更多
The beach could be really nice. Always seems like locals and kids are here. The beach however was covered in plastic bottles and wrappers and other assorted garbage. Really a shame because the dive entry is easy once you're down the steps and the dive is calm and enjoyable.
Bachelor's beach was just a hundred meter from my hotel 'Renaissance at Sea'. The beach was really small (almost no beach at high tide) but looked really lovely. Not many people, mostly locals.
This dive site is supposedly named for a bachelor who got drunk, fell in the sea and drowned - not the most cheerful of things to be told as you prepare to jump off the boat! But it's a lovely dive, good corals and plenty of sea life. His loss.
Bachelor's Beach was just a few steps down the road from our hotel, Bellafonte. We could see the lights of night divers from our dock almost every night. We did one of our last dives at Bachelor's and it was very nice. It doesn't rank among my top but it's pros include a very easy entry. This is hard to... 更多
