Beautiful sand beach close to Palm Garden Hotel, with lots of beachside restaurants and pubs nearby featuring Happy Hour with good prices. Fantastic sunsets over the beach. Well worth a visit.
We were staying at the yellow bird, so Worthing Beach was our local beach. We visited many beaches over our 2 visits here, and I was so glad this was the beach we came home too at the end of the day. Easy swimming, snorkeling and lots of turtle sightings. Loungers for rent and 4 banks beers for $5.
Note: I traveled here in January, 2014 Like Miami Beach, Worthing is a lovely beach with fantastic sand. Like Accra Beach, there is quite a bit of swimming area, in terms of how far out you go, though the beach is still not the size of Accra, in terms of length and expanse. It is right next to St. Lawrence... 更多
The east end of the beach is the quietest, ('sandy beach') with very shallow water for 100m or so out to a little reef easily wadable and with quieter seas. We spotted half a dozen large sea turtles snorkelling here - they have a different spot along the beach each day. More fun than an organised excursion as we were... 更多
This was our favorite beach not that we had found any bad one in Barbados. It had powder sand and the reef kept the surf down and was a great place to snorkel.
The sand here is pure white and the sea is very shallow so you can walk quite a distance with the water just coming up to the waist. Chairs and umbrellas are available at 20 dollars per day, the beach does get crowded but well worth a visit
Small beach with a reef, loungers and umbrellas available to rent, water was a little murky day we visited, understand turtles swim there but didn't see any, have been told that when it rains a lot sewage spills into the sea, food and drink available near by. Not my favourite beach on the island, and we did a lot of... 更多
The beach is clean, usually not crowded and the waves are not strong as there is a reef about 100m outside the beach in the sea. Perfect for swimming and my highlight: Turtle watching! The only downside is that there's hardly any good fous around: I recommend the two street vendors at near the gas station for cheap and yummy... 更多
For peace and quiet. Awesome view of the sea. A good picnic spot. An oasis awaited you. There's always local delicacy available on Friday from the bread lady. Homemade coconut bread and Roti. There are awesome. Do leave without trying one.
