The view from the St. John's Parish is absolutely breathtaking.... You could stand there forever and enjoy the breeze and the view. The history of the area is very interesting. This is a must stop in Barbados!!
This is a really neat place. The history and the architecture are amazing. Take lots of pictures. The graves have many English surnames and very old along with some recent. The plant life is beautiful with many different colors. The building itself is gorgeous both inside and out. You'll need about 45 minutes here.
This Barbadian Landmark is one of my favorites on the island. The church and it's grounds are a gorgeous walk in time and the views from the cliff side are to die for.
Having stumbled upon this now in need of some maintenance, church and rectory its was well worth finding. The balconied church has lovely wooden pews, alter and roof. Perhaps the graveyard with its amazing views of the east coast holds some magic. The tombs are unusual, sad to see the grave of the young prime minister and uplifting to see... 更多

The old wooden benches are so impressive and reminds of a time when folks still valued their religion and their devotion was endless. Most of the island inhabitants are religious and this is evident when... 更多
Recently visited here as part of an island tour. A typically English style Anglican Church incongruously placed in the Caribbean. My favourite bit was the hyperbolic inscription on a memorial plaque just to the right of the entrance inside. Interesting graveyard and spectacular view of the sea below. There are a couple of stalls selling local crafts outside. Well worth... 更多
Nice stopping place to see one of the original Churches on the Island. Has cemetary of many of the people who passed over 100 years ago up to the Prime Minister who died in 2010.
Visited whilst on a short tour of the island. A beautiful building and graveyard with plenty of history, well worth making the effort to get there if you enjoy old churches and history. The position on the cliff top is stunning and the views over the sea and countryside are beautiful.
This is a wonderful Gothic church steeped in history and well worth visiting. There are a couple of excellent reviews posted last November giving many details so there’s no need for repetition. The only thing I would add, particularly for the benefit of those who may have been before but not recently, is that when we last went a few... 更多
