Do you shopping between 10 am and 5 pm to ensure the stores are open. the area has great restaurants that are open later so it's great for dinner after shopping. great views from the balconies of some restaurants.
The main street for shopping in hamilton. Has higher end stores, nothing economical but then again i dont think anything is economical in bermuda.here there are also a couple of restaurants,the waterfront and ferries. Front Street was REAL Beautiful, The cleanest town on any island I have ever been to and I have traveled many islands in the Caribbean. There was no garbage on any streets, No stray Dogs, No Beggers and no random street side vendors. The club/bar Scene is HYPE especially on Fridays and Saturdays! Very few cruise ships dock in Hamilton now due to size restrictions. Shopping is less hectic here because of that , but most of the shops are pretty much like everywhere else; but the people are friendly and there is more freedom to browse and find the right item.
It's a beautiful street to stroll down. There is a lovely park ( with roaming chickens and roosters) on queens street to have a picnic. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from (most are pricey). There are several pubs that show soccer games- Manchester United friendly! :) there are shops of different kinds but nothing spectacular to write home... 更多
