Bit of a walk from the bus stop. The beach was deserted, not a soul to be seen, cool and a little unsettling. No one told us that after labor day everything closed down. My husband and I enjoyed a nice swim took some pictures and then headed back to St Georges. Water and beach are so clear and beautiful.
Clearwater Beach has a nice local bar and access to bathrooms but the beach itself is just so-so. If you keep walking along the road you will end up in the Cooper Island Nature Preserve which is a wonderful and quiet area with great beaches and snorkeling. You will find solitude on the beautiful beaches! You won't find crowds or... 更多
We had to leave our rental by 11 am and our flight wasn't until 3:30 pm so might as well take ONE MORE DIP... We had our more than friendly tour guide and taxi driver Robby Powell drop us off at Turtle Bay right beside Clearwater Beach and made arrangements for Robbie to come pick us back up later. Nice... 更多
Visited this beach a couple of times on our holiday and found it to be quiet during the week but very busy at weekends. The beach itself is lovely with a nice view of St David's Lighthouse and of the planes landing or taking off from the airport just down the road. Whilst we were there we saw turtles just... 更多
Well, we got dropped off and realized that there had been a shooting the night before(local gang) a rare thing but still...the restaurant was closed and you couldn't go into cooper island so we stayed on Clearwater and about an hour later the restaurant/bar opened. it a Very local place but the food was great and very friendly service. we... 更多
Beautiful pristine beaches. Nice and quiet, no rowdy crowds. Excellent fish sandwich at the restaurant. Toured the whole area of the smaller beaches next to it and the reserve, not a strenuos activity and well worth a visit. The water is nice and calm, great place for families with children or couples.i went alone with my husband and had a... 更多
We came here after spending a day at Coopers Island Nature Reserve next door (Turtle Bay and Long Bay) and thought this place would be similar. However, it wasn't. The beach was all tore up and there was a bull dozer moving sand into piles. There really wasn't a place to safely sit down for our big family (10 of... 更多
best beach in my wife and I opinion on the entire island, the views are amazing and there are very few people there. Our absolute favorite and we rented a scooter and went to every popular beach on the island.
We love all the beaches in Bermuda but this series of beaches out on Cooper's Island are the very best. A little difficult to get to but well worth the effort. Clearwater, Turtle Bay, and Long Beach are never very crowded especially during the week. The snorkeling is always nice at Long Beach with fewer people packed in than Tobacco... 更多
This place is PARADISE!!! The BEST views of the famous blue waters of Bermuda! Great place to picnic and snorkel, or just "beach it" for the day. (Yes ladies, there is a decent port-a-potty! Bring hand sanitizer!). This place is a great way to avoid the tourists, as it only recently opened up to the public and only the locals... 更多
