This was the second of two caves we wanted our group to see in our Aruban adventure. While the famed Fontein Cave is cool and definitely should also be visited during your Arikok visit, we found these caves to be much more beautiful and breathtaking. Like most of the pictures you will find (mine included) you will see a lot... 更多
This cave is inside Arikok National Park and we stopped here while exploring with a UTV that we had rented. The cave has multiple large chambers with light streaming through the ceiling of several rooms. It's absolutely beautiful inside. There are bats in the deeper recesses of the cave and multiple park guides inside and outside the cave to give... 更多
We visited this as a family. This place was great. Its beautiful inside and a little mystical as the guide told of some local history/folklore and a little wind funnel appeared between the topside opening and ran down. We drove ourselves through the park in a rented jeep. We were able to see lizards and bats inside. A very interesting... 更多
saw some bats flying around -- it was dark, so bring a small flashlight or your cell phone with a flashlight app. some great scenery and interesting rock formations inside. Spent about a half hour/45 minutes here and it was a good amount of time.
We were out driving about on the 'other' side when we came across these caves so we decided to stop. It was cool how the sun came through the holes in the tops in some areas and it was completely dark in other areas. We walked around for a while inside, there were sleeping bats but they didn't bother anybody... 更多
The first cave had a guide and the opening room is great for pictures, saw bats. The guide told us to go to the second cave down the road and it has 2 open roof areas, then go back in farther and if the gate in unlocked you can crawl through and go into a completely dark area with tons... 更多
The caves in Arikok National Park are a great stop. We did not visit Huliba Cave as it has a bad reputation for access but the Fontein Cave and Guadirikiri Cave are both excellent. The tour the local park ranger gave us of Fontein Cave was the best tour we had on the island. We were told about the history... 更多
These caves are a true hidden gem in Aruba. You need to climb a few unstable steps and this is most certainly nothing for people who aren't very steady on their feet. Also, inside the cave, you have to constantly bend and watch your step. At some places, you need flashlights to see where you're putting your feet. It gets... 更多
