Interesting and very old in history it just comes to show you that gold can be mined any where in the world goods and refreshments are on hand as there is a little canteen that sells drinks so you never go thirsty
This was one of the places that we stopped while we had the Wolverine from Road Runner ATV. The ruins themselves are interesting along with the copious amounts of blue and green lizards scattering every witch way, but the highlight of the stop was the food truck. We visited his location w/ our tour Kini Kini tours on ATVs. It's an excellent location for history buffs and adventurers. The area is very hands on. Meaning you can climb all over it. We stopped here today on a Jeep tour. It's an interesting site to take some neat photos of the north side of Aruba. Wear sturdy shoes if you're going to climb around. Save the flip flops for the pool.
We stopped here as part of our tour around the island. It was a beautiful setting, overlooking the beautiful blue ocean. It appeared that many tours stopped here. There is no entrance fee and you can climb and explore to your liking. We were able to get some really cool pictures at this location.
This is the site of where gold was found in the late 1800's (until the Dutch arrived and spoiled all the fun). You can climb up on the rocks, and get some great pictures along the north coast with the waves crashing in. But it's just a stopover - nothing much more to see.
If you take one of the many off-road tours offered by jeep, personal UTV, or horseback, you will probably have the opportunity to visit the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins.
