It's around $159 per person for full day trip with lunch. If you pay credit card, there are a surcharge extra for that. The hotel charged me $30 deposit at the hotel and I paid the rest on boat and I was told $6 extra for paying credit card. There are no pick up or drop off from your hotel.... 更多
A fast visit to the second exotic island of the country. It's a beautiful cruise around Barbuda.Great beaches.Barbuda needs a visit of some days.Great place for relax
The Barbuda Express took 1hr 20 from St Johns and we had a smooth sailing. The staff organised a taxi and guide to take us to Lady Dianas Beach and Pink Sands beach and we had a delicious lobster lunch
I took the full day tour that was offered. The island isn't ideal to be explored on foot. The ride over was a bit rough, as there were some good sized waves. We were given a small cup of a ginger drink prior to leaving that was quite tasty (and helps to settle the stomach). We were met by a... 更多
The crossing was lively, with quite a few bumps, but mainly fun. When we arrived we really enjoyed the day on the island, especially the frigate bird sanctuary.
Enjoyed the boat trip there, and the Frigate bird sanctuary, but didn't really see any of the island other than the beach peninsula. I could have stayed in Antigua and lay on the beach!
There are some really mixed reviews on T.A. regarding the day tours to Barbuda with Barbuda express. Here's my take: Ferry ride is admittedly long and moderately rough. The ferry is not all that comfortable but if you're accustomed to smaller craft in deep water it's really not that bad. I thought the island tour was great. Two Foot Bay... 更多
Best of both worlds for beach and nature lovers. Even if you don't normall like birdwatching, you would be missing out by not going along to the frigate nesting area and just viewing these birds in their natural habitat. Once you've seen the colony there's plenty of time to relax on one of the best beaches in the world whilst... 更多
The ferry might surprise you with how small it is at about 50 passengers capacity, which means if the sea is choppy, it might not be ideal for those who get sea sick! But the crew are friendly, drinks and snacks are available on board at reasonable prices, and the sailing times allow about the right amount of time to... 更多
A comprehensive tour of Barbuda by knowledgeable people. Time at a beach is a selling point, but for someone like me this is a big turnoff. The climate and conditions for middle of the day beachgoing is injurious to health. (skin cancer)
