Great place to stop if you need a snack, expect to pay $$ ,water was off and visitors was using port a potties. Nice view to take pics if you enjoy big crowds. And looking for parking. Souvenirs was very expensive , a baseball with Colorado on it was $10.00 I would pass it, if possible, plenty of pullovers to... 更多
If you are near Rocky Mountain National Park, a drive up to the Alpine Visitor Center is a must. The drive is easy and spectacular. With many spots to pull off and enjoy the views. When you arrive at the Alpine Visitors Center, hike up the hill to the 12,000 foot summit. Worth every bit of effort and it takes... 更多
The visitor center is an amazing place to get information about alpine nature and the RMNP in general. However the food stand could be improved.

You can climb the stairs to get to over 12,000 feet. Leave some time to do this because the air is thin and you'll have to take it slow even if you... 更多
The views are terrific. The inventory is well stocked and offers variety at reasonable prices. There is a large restaurant next door with some of the best mountain views in the park.
From a previous visit - we remembered that they had good chili and it was lunch time -- It was crazy in there -- people could hardly maneuver around everyone and getting a table was very difficult to find. Food was good and all I shopped for was post cards and even that was hard to do!
We spent a day in RMNP and went to Alpine from Estes Park. It was a nice stop and great view with Elk in the valley below. There is a small cafe where we had a sandwich for lunch. Would have enjoyed more selection, but understandably, this is at the top of the mountains! Gift shop with tons of Colorado... 更多
Very informative stop on the Trail Ridge Road. Clean restrooms and good items to pick up to let you know about the area. Plenty of Elk to see in the area.
