We recently traveled around the USA, starting in San Diego and heading to Washington, all the way to Maine, down to Florida and back to California with many stops in between and this campsite stands out to us the most! The beauty is unreal! The camp host was nice and flexible with us moving spots as well. We were here... 更多
Very easy access with a great setting to have a picnic and see the lake. We walked down to the dock and then continued on our journey through the park.
We woke up on a Saturday morning and, after a quick packing job, were on the road to CCC. I was worried about the no reservation policy but we were able to get a spot pretty quickly. I only wish I'd driven faster to secure a spot on the water - those look sooooo cool! The water is super nice,... 更多
We spent two nights in late August camping in a Westfalia. We were really bummed by this campground as we had high expectations. Three main annoyances. 1) the spots are really tight and the lakefront ones are stacked such that they overlap in kind of a head to toe layout. It felt like we were camping in our neighbors spot.... 更多
This is a beautiful campground. But you can't make reservations here it is first come first serve. We went up on Thursday hoping to get a spot. The campground was already full as where all the other campgrounds around. We ended up going home as there where no spaces anywhere.

The sites are in a wooded area with many trees towering over head. There are many different kinds of sites and even some are able to accommodate larger trailers. At present it is... 更多
Campground was clean and quiet for being nearly full. Lakeside spots are really close together and don't have much of a view, unless you have a tent and can get right down to the water. The trailer sites are up closer to the road. We opted for site 37 which is on the upper loop in the south campground. It... 更多
This place is first come first serve. On a Saturday at 1pm, the place was already full, in fact EVERY camp ground was full. I wish reservations could be made for several of these places. We did not stay here, but we did park and hike Thunder Knob trail the next day. It looked like a beautiful place and we... 更多
So this is the kind of campground I dream about. Densely wooded, green, ferns, moss, secluded, streams, lake, did I say densely wooded? The trees are huge and literally there are several above your head at any time in the campground. The lower side says 'trail' but there are plenty of huge sites to accommodate ANY size RV. In fact... 更多
