Skull Rock is aptly named and a sight to behold. Many trails surround the rocks so you view up close or from different angles. We're a retired couple and still enjoyed crawling around the rock and taking lots of pictuers
There is not much I can say that it's not said already about the Skull Rock. It's a skull shaped rock in Joshua Tree National Park. It's next to road, so a short stop is not waste of time.
This formation is one of many - it just happens to vaguely look like a skull. Cars, too many people and trees make a photo tough. You an see it well from the road but its a short easy hike to it.

It is a fun formation that is very close to the road, but many older folks we cam across had a hard time finding the rock (even though it is very close to the road). To maximize the formation's likeness to a skull,... 更多
