Seeing this area carved out on the map from development caused me to take a closer look before our vacation. Saw some geocaches and place to rent yaks and SUPs. Wind was strong there till the day I left, but I went in and rented a yak. I've never paddled a place like this and wish I had had more... 更多
It was nice. Great if you want to just sit in shade or rent a canoe which hopefully we can do next time. We wanted to explore but it was so hot and even though it seemed big on the map maybe we just didnt understand but it seemed sort of small in person. Who knows we were hot and... 更多
We visited the park at the end of May. We rented kayaks and paddle boards, each were $14 per hour. We paddle boarded for a few minutes and then switched to kayaks when we realized that we weren't that good at it LOL. The kayaking was really nice. There are easy trails thru the mangroves that come out to the... 更多
This is a short walk to the lake. the best part is the walk through the mangroves where you can see the different ecological areas and it is great for photos of roots in many different sizes and shapes.

They had good back support, for top of the water kind of kayaks. The facilities are clean and I like that you put in from a sandy beach area, with... 更多

This site is a pleasant stop to view the lake and to walk the trail. Birds were not plentiful here during our visit, but that was true of most of the park this time, due to high water.
When I lived in Dania Beach, this was my favorite place to go for peace and quiet. There is a place where you climb flights of stairs up to a lookout of the entire area. I always loved this place and it is one of the places I miss the most after moving.
