This provides a slightly different view of the surrounding terrain. Most views look mainly to the east. This allows you to see the area to the south. Just for a comparison. Not as spectacular, but nice.
After getting to Rainbow Point, just walk a little further to Yovimpa Point. From here you will be able to see for miles and miles out across the valley below and see the "end of the hoodoos". Its hard to say what the best view in the park is, but this is one of the best.
You feel like you are on top of the world at this lookout. You can see so far. We took the short walk off the lookout which allowed other views. You are at 9000 feet so you have to walk slower or be acclimated.
This was literally the end of the road we could drive; on the afternoon we spent at Bryce Canyon. We passed by many other stops after leaving Inspiration Point. This area is at the end of the road in Bryce Canyon and offers good vantage point over the prairie to the Grand Canyon and other formations south. Quieter location to see sunsets with less people and better views.
