should you have time for just one attraction, this is the one to do !!!! This trail is just magnificent ! Colors od thz rocks is .... irreal, seems to be painted by Van Gogh .... Superb
It's a loop trail from Sunset Point. A number of people told us to take the left fork down. The trail isn't that hard, lots of switch backs. Take your time and enjoy the changes of rock formations down to the valley. The colors, the sky and the hoodoos are what it's all about. Enjoy!
For a fairly short investment of time (we actually took the Navajo Trail and connected to return on the Queens Garden Trail) you can see a beautiful section of the Bryce Canyon - it is a tough hike back up, remember to bring plenty of water, and leave early to avoid the heat of the day. Absolutely beautiful place.
Totally agreed with other reviewers to go down Navajo and up Queen's Garden. Otherwise, it's a steep walk up Navajo to Sunset. Don't know why NPS recommended the other way. This is a beautiful hike with lots of scenic points and rock formations. It took us about 3 hours but we were going at a leisurely pace. Make sure to... 更多
We were there on a cold day in mid April. It was snowing when arrived and left but nature gave us a break in between so we hiked a short way down the trail. I would guess maybe 1/4 to 1/3. It is steep with drop offs but it does not appear as bad as Grand Canyon. Even in a... 更多

I have been here twice and both times the last part of the trail has been closed. We ended up going from the Navajo Loop trail over to the queens garden trail from sunset to sunrise. We have two little kids and they made the hike with no problems.
We read in a review that it is much easier to walk the trail if you start at Sunset Point, this is absolutely true. The walk into the Canyon from this direction is down a steep set of switchbacks which are comparatively easy going down, but hard work going up. From this direction the walk out of the canyon is... 更多
