All of Badlands National Park is amazing, and the loop road is a good way to see most of it. But if you're pressed for time, don't miss the Door, Window, and Notch trails.
What nice road, with lots of good lookouts spots. A nice activity to do on a sunny day. They have a map at the gate which will dial you in to the good stuff.
Loop road kept us on track to see all that the Badlands National Park had to offer...plenty of spots to stop and get out of the car so that you can see the vast, beautiful views.
This Loop Road never gets boring. Pictures don't do it justice. The colors and the rock formations are something else. There are plenty of overlooks and some nice trails. It took us about 2 hours and a half to take the loop from the East Entrance to the West Entrance.
You can drive around the main rock feature areas in a couple of hours and there are two visitor centres to stop at if you want more information, restrooms, shop etc. lots of trails of different lengths are clearly marked, but we didn't do any. We were staying at Wall for 2 nights so actually visited twice, coming one evening... 更多

Take the time and explore what the Badlands has to offer. Definitely do the drive. Just when you think that you have seen the most beautiful and breathtaking view, you turn a corner or crest a hill and you are amazed all over again. There are plenty of places to stop, pull off and take pictures. I would love to... 更多
We drove the Loop Road and were amazed at the beauty of this place. We stopped several times and hiked into the Badlands. There are many great places to stop and take pictures. I can't say enough good things about this park.
First of all, the Badlands are GREAT! The loop road is a great way to get an overall feel of the park's terrain. We did a hyperlapse video while driving and it's pretty cooool - check it out! It feels like a different planet!
