I am hoping this site is for the Leweton Magical Water Music village. Anyway that is who I am reviewing! We arrived on a P&O tour and booked a private driver who took 4 of us (2 couples) us to 3 places (including Million Dollar Point) for about $20 each. The highlight has to be Leweton who turned on the... 更多
A truly lovely experience into traditional village life and customs. Kava tasting didn't do much for me, but the friendly atmosphere and water music was most enjoyable.
Unless you are lucky to visit the Banks islands, the only way to experience the very nice and original water music is to see a show here or in any of the hotels when they have one.
A great way to see how the locals live and how they prepare food and kava, dancing well worth it for a cultural experience. traditional dress is also highlighted. Warriors greet you at the gate....just enjoy
If you are looking for something different and wanting to know the village life of the Vanuatu people will this is for you. This attraction will go through and take you through all aspects of there village life ending up with the magical water music. Even tasting kava. These people are so friendly and must when visiting Santo . Worth... 更多
The visit to Nekar custom village was a highlight of our tour. Demonstrations of fire kindling, brewing the local hooch (ugh!) and dancing were given. We then walked the short distance to the pool where the "magical water music" recital was given by the local women. Quite unique!
I'm friend of the villagers, and their Water music tour is located at Leweton Culture village. The P & O runs the Water music tour with Flower Garden & Custom dance tour in Santo, and no longer with the Leweton Culture Village & Magical Water music tour. The Water music ladies at Leweton Culture Village are much more experienced, performed... 更多
This was an interesting attraction but NOT at the price of AUD$65 per person (organised by P&O). The show becomes somewhat repetitive after 10 minutes and you can say that you have seen it all. Again, it is an interesting experience but don't go there for the second time. We were here on 14 August.
We booked a day before, and it wasn't in their normal times. Most of the kids were at school, so it was women, babies and some men. Didn't matter. These guys are AWESOME!!! Lovely tour, everyone enjoyed it, the water music was incredible, and so were the songs. Our school group performed our school haka as a response, and we... 更多
