I absolutely love visiting Hven. I tell everyone who is traveling to Denmark or Southern Sweden to make the effort to get there. The Museum is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and I have been in a lot of museums. The underground observatory is amazing, and when you listen to the narration, it is quite awe-inspiring.... 更多
Our guide, Martin, taught me everything I now know about the Danish Astronomer, Tycho Brahe. The short ferry ride to the island of Hven was pretty and the island itself is beautiful, perfect for a day of cycling. Lots of lovely panoramas to eat a picnic and just spend a peaceful relaxing day, assuming the weather is good.
A lovely museum about Tycho Brahe on the sleepy island of Hven. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the underground observatory that Tycho built in the 1500s. The observatory contains some of the original plinths from Tycho's time but has been rebuilt so you get a full experience of what the observatory was really like. Take a day on the... 更多

Tycho Brahe also established magnificient garden around his castle. Museum... 更多

We visited the museum given that it was in the town we decided to do a bike tour through. I was very please with the place and the little part of history that exists on that little island. Wonder place to stop and learn about how much Tycho Brahe contributed to science.
