My husband and I stopped here on a private Santo Tour of the south end of the island. Maria was very gracious and offered a sampling of Greek foods including caper leaves which I had never had. And 'jams' made from cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini and watermelon. We also tasted her own winery's white, rose, and 'dessertish' wines which were all... 更多
My husband and I had rented a car and were doing a drive across the island for the day and found this little gem! It's sort of in the middle of no where so you would only find it on your way to Akitori. Think you would need your own car to get here as I don't think a local... 更多
I visited this place for a cooking class as part of a tour with Trekking Hellas. What an amazing experience! First, Maria showed me around their family-owned farm and wine cellars. Then, we prepared a delicious meal using only fresh produce from their farm. As someone who enjoys good quality home cooking, I loved the atmosphere of the place and... 更多
My Husband and I stopped here on our way to the lighthouse. We actually didn't know what this was, but we had lost our GPS signal and weren't sure if we were heading in the right direction. My Husband spotted this place and pulled over to purchase drinks. We cannot stress enough how great Faros Market is. A variety of... 更多
This is such a great little place in Santorini. If you didn't know what was waiting for you, I think you would just drive on by. But you should most definitely stop in! I went here with a Trekking Hellas Culinary Journey tour (which ended up being private because it was just my friend and I). When we arrived, a... 更多
We stopped in here coming back from the lighthouse, it was a recommended by a waiter at our hotel. We were very warmly greeted by the owner and she gave us lots of samples of their local products on offer. We then had a quick private tour of their wine making facilities just behind the shop. What a great experience.
We went here to Faros market as the driver Nick took us there from Santo tour. The owner Maria is a very kind lady and warm hearted, and exemplifies Greek Hospitality . This is a family run shop and they have some unique products that I have not seen anywhere- like watermelon preserves and tomatoes and they have a winery... 更多
My wife and I were able to visit this Faros Market on our way back from the Lighthouse. Maria the owner was great and took her time in explaining the family business. It is a total family run business and uses all the old traditional ways of making wine. Was nice to see how this business has been able to... 更多
Had an amazing time wine tasting at Faros Market. Lovely family owned and run business. We felt very welcomed and were impressed with all the personal touches. Really enjoyed pouring and bottling my own wine bottle. Thank you for the amazing experience.
