This place is a gem. Given the diverse nature of the gardens and how extensive they are, I am impressed by how well maintained they are. It's a beautiful spot to enjoy nature and take a stroll.
These gardens are a delight, we went to see the snowdrops, as they have a huge selection of snowdrop varieties. This to me is the quintessential romantic garden, full of hidden paths and little secrets. It is a delight and absolutely free to visit!
Beautiful gardens at any time of the year. Really well kept and there is a lovely little café nestled in the centre of a garden centre. Probably the nicest gardens we have visited in Ireland. Can't say any better than that !

However walking straight ahead and left brings one under trees and the opens out into a beautiful garden at the back of Altamont House (which itself is in disrepair). However the gardens are wonderful and the many pathways give different perspectives... 更多
