It was a lovely clear day and once we took the short walk up the hill you could see for miles. There is also historical information on the station placed around the site. We had a guide who talked us through key land marks on both the south and north side. It was clear to see why the signal station... 更多
Gun Hill Signal Station, located in the parish of St.George, views of the entire island! The wrap-around balcony affords the first of these views; to the south-west, you will see the capital city Bridgetown with the cruise ships in the harbour; the southern and western views are just as captivating. Trees block the full view to the north and east.... 更多
This is a great spot to learn the basic history of the island and how it was militarily defended using 5 signal stations on the island. This one is very well maintained and reconstructed. The views are breathtaking and the displays are very detailed.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves attending the moon gathering at Gun Hill Signal station. It was great to socialize with what seems like a regular group to this event. Volunteers were all extremely friendly. The views were lovely and we will definitely return

Came as part of tour. This is one of six Watchtowers used to see ships coming in. Flags of different colors signaled other stations. Great views and cool breezes.
I really enjoyed my visit to Gun HIll Station. It's got some amazing views and is very interesting indeed, would thoroughly recommend.
One of the chain of signalling stations established across Barbados and the most accessible from the main tourist areas. Neatly kept site with a small amount of interpretive boards. One of few viewpoints in central Barbados.
