Mr Stevenson was an excellent tour guide giving an insight into the cotton growing and processing industry as well as a very interesting history of this ginnery. Quality of the cotton grown here is exceptional and used for haute couture. Best for those with an interest in textiles or fashion.
Definitely underwhelming, but interesting. I would suggest that the head guy keep some cotton on hand to actually show visitors the process, instead of just pointing to the machines in the nearly empty warehouse.
Difficult to understand the other reviews. Having visited Barbados several times and seen most of the sights, we made a trip here as something new. Fair enough, we missed the tour and that may be our loss, but on arriving mid afternoon everything looked locked up and almost derelict. We persevered and found what looked like an entrance door but...
