Wonderful learning experience about coffee growing and roasting. We walked through the plantation and saw old equipment and met the family who owned it. After the tour, we had a coffee preparation and tasting and it was wonderful. We bought coffee to bring home.
Its good Trip Advisor reviews and its proximity to our base in Atenas put the El Toledo Coffee Farm Tour high on our list of planned activities during our week in the region. We visited the El Toledo web site and heeded the request to book in advance for the tour and lunch. We arrived at the farm in its... 更多
It is always a pleasure to learn from people who are passionate about what they do. Gabriel and his family along with Brian and his family were wonderful hosts and teachers about organic farming practices. We learnt much about how to brew a perfect cup of coffee to forming a truer understanding of pro/cons of local vs international marketing... Chemical... 更多

The El Toledo Coffee tour was great. Gabriel was fantastic The coffee delicious and lunch with his Aunt Cecelia was the best. Such delicious food a gracious host.
Great tour and delicious lunch cooked by Gabriel's mom. Very informative, taught me a lot about organic vs non-organic farming and all there is to know about coffee.
Gabriel was amazing, and his love for his family farm shines thru. We got an amazing tour and learned a lot about how they grow their beans without any pesticides at all. I would recommend this for anyone who likes coffee. We bought some coffee and some other stuff also, was very enjoyable experience overall. Learned I like medium roast... 更多
When Vera, the owner of B&B Vista Atenas recommended I take a tour of a local coffee farm, quite frankly, I expected something along the lines of, "this is the bean, this is how we dry it, and this is where we roast it." I couldn't have been more wrong! It is family owned and truly operating with the integrity... 更多
Forget big coffee like Doka. Small is where it is at. Small and smart. Gabriel and his parents do an incredible job and not only educate you on coffee farming/processing/roasting/brewing, but farming as a whole including organic and chemical farming. When you make your reservation you should also reserve a lunch or dinner at the cafe. Delicious. My kid played... 更多
