There is a bus that takes you from Gdansk and comes back 3 and a half hours later, which is the perfect time to see everything. Don't spend loads of money on a private bus or a tour, it's unnecessary. It's free to get in, but please make a donation. You have to visit here. It's horrible. I honestly have... 更多
There may be organised tours in the high season? Otherwise go to a tourist information and they will give you details of what service bus to get and where from. It's the 870 and costs about £5/6 each way (can't buy a return ticket) Take food with you as there are no facilities. We went to auschwitz earlier in the... 更多
This place has been historically preserved so well. It is hard to put in words what this visit was like but overall it was something that my partner and I were so happy we did. It was very overwhelming & emotional, what happened at this place hangs heavy in the air. The guides are well worth having, they have so... 更多
What you can learn from here makes worthy all the road you have to make for coming. Impressive, dramatic and sad. Completely for free, as each place for memory should be.

This camp was the first outside of Germany, established in 1939. It was very sobering and emotional. It is deeply moving and a difficult couple of hours but we must... 更多
Really worthwhile half day activity- if you book a tour. We did ours through the museum and it was well done, and much cheaper than any other (180zl). You should book in advance though, preferably via phonecall. There wasn't much english info so book a tour. Not much bus info online so we missed the one out there and took... 更多
This was my first visit to a concentration camp, so I can't compare it to others, but I found the experience very moving. It is not sensationalised, but what you can see is enough to imagine the horror of bring an inmate. The history and statistics are given in a matter of fact way and without sentiment or judgement. It... 更多
Firstly get the PKS bus in the bus station, go down the steps and walk to the end where you will come to a little information kiosk and some glass doors up a couple of steps, platform two. The platform is up the steps and we caught the 11:15 bus, tell the driver or write it down on a paper,... 更多
