The government of Maharashtra is the worst at designing spots like these for viewing, they want to keep the people away, and invite them at the same time. Parking is two kilometres away! with no last-mile transport, so everyone instead ends up illegally parking near the plateau and further destroying nature.

it is almost 20 kilmeter from the main city , the city and the roads are not congested. the approach is nice and well maintained. the place is nice but I went in January so hardly any green patch or the flowers to see. but vast and barren plateu. worth going round for a while. would like to visit in... 更多
Stunning natural area, great for reptiles and birds. Very close to Satara, its a very convenient area to spend the day. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
The Kaas plateau is a world heritage site. There are various types of flowers having different types and colours. Through this review I just wanted to appeal the visitors that PLEASE DON"T LITTER OUR WORLD HERITAGE SITE !!!!!

A plateau has lots of mini flowers of different colors especially pink and violet. Best time to go in Sept after rainy season. Valley has beautiful view and it was awesome sitting there for hours.
