While we were back on our way from Shimla to Chandigarh .. we happened to visit this Gardens. As I had heard a lot of about this Mughal Style gardens. And it was also well known for their fountain. Surrounded by the lush green grass everywhere, along with long pathways good to walk and spend quality
Pinjore Gardens is some 20 KM off Chandigarh on NH-22, that's Chandigarh-Shimla Highway.Place is more of Picnic Spot kind,but fine for a family outing.You would fine some good fruit tree variants here & lot of flowers.Overall a nice place,can be checked while going to Shimla.
The garden is located on Kalka road. If you are traveling towards Shimla, it is recommended to make a stop here. The garden is beautiful with variety of decorated fauna & fountains. Locals know this as Yadavindra Garden. Please visit the place late afternoon to enjoy the colors & lights.
Every time I go to himachal I always stop at Pinjore Garden, which very beautiful summer place of Maharaja. Very good spot for photography & perfect place for picnic.

We visited Pinjore Garden with our friends from USA last weekend. Pinjore Garden has been built with bountiful of water fountains constructed beautifully which is major attraction. The Garden is very thoughtfully surrounded by Fruit Trees segregated by varieties of chosen fruits. Must visit once in Chandigarh.
