The zoo on Martinique is not the biggest. But it is beautiful and there are many animals. I recommend you to buy some food for the animals (around 1€), as you can feed the racoons and another animal (but I forgot the name of it). The zoo has a path you will follow around. At certain points you can learn... 更多
If you are into old plantations then this is a must for your itinerary. A zoo moulded into old plantation ruins that would be a tourist attraction on its own right. The zoo gives a nice overview of the Island and the surrounding fauna, but despite the small number of animals the tour itself is quite long still as it... 更多
Our kids enjoyed the boardwalk and the animals. Beside the animals there is a nice garden. Incredibly how long they need to sell a ticket at the entry (it takes 20 minutes for 3 families to let in).
The zoo it is gorgeus. It is mixt with alot of tropical plants and animals. They have a good variaty of monkeys, turtules with explenation of the species, habitation, reproduction, and most interesting , danger of exctintion. Also you can enter at one point in the perret cage as they fly arround you. They have a on site restaurant also, but... 更多

The designers utilized the ruins imaginatively, such that in certain areas, the animals are actually in and around the ruins themselves - very cool! The grounds are lovely. But though I know that almost nothing in the Caribbean... 更多
Small zoo, but definitely worth visiting. Very nice area with river running through it. Its not typical zoo with hunderds of animals, but still amazing and calm place. If you go to Jardin Balata (highly recommended place too) first, you will get discount. After entering the object there is small yard belonging to the hotel, you can park your car... 更多
Small as zoos go but all the animals were easy to view and looked like they were well cared for. A small collection to be sure but a fun way to spend a few hours . Nice gift shop. Parking lot was full when we arrived and we had to park outside the zoo on the street but only a... 更多
After visiting Jardin Balata we were disappointed and not expecting any better. What a surprise - this place is really great. I strongly recommend visiting ZOO de Martinique - it's a fantastic place for tourists no matter how old are they. And the restaurant has a good food.
My family visited this zoo while on a Caribbean cruise. My kids (8 and 5) loved it. Beautifully maintained gardens impressed my wife and I as well.
