This a great place to end up if you walk from Southend or if you hop off the train. Come winter stroll or chatching some summer rays I've done them all and have a lovely time.
Love this place so much, relaxing in winter and summer, in fact an all year round place to visit. To take our dog fir a leasurly walk, and of course to go into Lynne taite gallery. The art and craft gallery's with work from local artists and sculptures.

It is always nice to come to this place for a stroll and stop and have some cockles and fish platters, nice village atmosphere, nice old fisherman boats and nice pubs
I visit regularly both with my family and friends. There is something for all to enjoy. I take the children on bikes and scooters and they play on the beach, bike or scoot along to chalkwell then have ice creams or lunch in one of the numerous restaurants/pubs/tearooms. Always busy, always lots going on.
Lovely pubs and restaurants . Cockle stalls of course . Right by the waters edge . Where you can have a pint and eat your seafood outside on a sunny day but inside if raining
