This is a great place to sample many different wines from the Lavaux region. It worked out especially well for us since most of the wineries are closed on Saturdays. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. They were very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the region and each wine we tried. I felt it was a... 更多
We took the train to St. Saphorin from Montreux and got off in that little village to have such at Raisin...wonderful perch filets. The village is very hilly but we had a nice visit at a chapel there to rest our feet. Then we walked the rest of the way to the Vinorama....a little ways to walk but along the... 更多
The wine was good but not exceptional. The walkway leading to the tasting room was exceptional, with lots of waterfalls & a scenic view of the mountains and lakes. It is a great way to taste the wines of the area, although I must admit that it is difficult if you cannot speak the language.
Stopped here along a stroll through the Lavaux winery valley. A good place to stop and visit if you have difficulty walking the steep hills of the vineyards. We were particularly encumbered due to having heavy packs and this one is nice since it's at street level. They have a well-made video chronicling what it's like to operate a vineyard... 更多
We hiked to the vinorama and watched an informative movie about making wine in this mountainous region. Excellent movie! Then we sampled wines and learned about how each variety is made depending on the geography of the land. Staff at the vinorama were welcoming and very knowledgable. Highly recommend considering you can sample several wines from the region!
I'm not a wine drinker but we were told that the wine maker movie shown at vinorama was worth the visit. And it was. A journey through the seasons and stages of wine-making. Very well filmed, edited and narrated. Available in about 10 different languages, including Mandarin and Japanese. A worthwhile visit, even if you don't drink wine!
Very beautiful! Informative video of a documentary showing the wine process through the year. and the wine tasting session was very informative.
They very architecturally interesting building showcases Lavaux region wines. An award-winning film follows a vintner through a year in his vineyard and winery - extremely well-done. The tasting room features 200+ wines around the circumference of the room. Staff members are helpful and very knowledgeable. A very pleasent expereince.
This place was worth the stop and made for an enjoyable couple of hours. This is a beautiful and very old wine region along the north shore of Lake Geneva. The vineyards are very terraced and hilly. While the ~150 small vineyards in the area are too many to visit, you can try the Vinorama tasting room, which has over... 更多
