These caves are breathtakingly beautiful and made all the more atmospheric by the use of lights and music. It is quite cool and probably advisable to take a fleece just in case. The tour is conducted solely in French which is a bit of a shame but it would probably take too long to translate into several other languages .... 更多
These caves are breathtakingly beautiful. I've never been anywhere like it before and was stunned by the beautiful rock formations. There's a short walk to the entrance and then several rooms to see. You have to go with a guide and we had quite a few people in our group, young and old. The guide only spoke French and he... 更多
We visited in August so the cool canes were good. The others wore fleeces but we were fine in t-shirts. There are 5 caverns to see. The guide does an extensive talk about the caves which was lost on us as my French is basic. Entrance was cheap and so it was with seeing regardless. The tour lasted an hour... 更多
These are an incredible example of nature's art, helped along with a well lit route to follow, culminating in a superb sound and light show. You will want to make sure you have some sensible footwear as it is a bit of an uphill hike to the entrance and you will want to be sure footed as the route through... 更多
This cave is not as big or impressive as nearby Cabrespine, but it is still interesting. The tour walks you through many different looking caverns that are joined together. A guide also tells about the history and purpose of each cave (in French). There is no public transportation here - you would need to have a car to reach it.
This is a cool place to visit. The cave is quite something and the tour is broken up into segments which is helpful. The lighting in the cave is really well done and the walkways are safe easy to follow. I can see a number of conflicting comments about the guides. Our experience was not too bad. Our guide started... 更多
We really enjoyed our visit to these caves. Although most of the guided tour was in French we understood quite well and even got the guide's jokes. The guide was excellent and a lot of fun. We were also lucky that a geomorphologist accompanied our guide because he was able to explain a lot more to us about the formations... 更多
Very beautiful cave. We went into the cave with a small group, the two of us and three French tourists. From the beginning we were expertly ignored as non French speakers. The guide did not asked if we did understand French, looked as if we didn't excist and there was no written explanation in English. In addition, the guide had... 更多
We had no expectation before visiting this cave. 1-the price is a little bit high for a 1 hour tour and 600m long cave. 2-the rooms in the cave are nice and offer a good experience. 3- the guide was great and knew is stuff. All in all it was a nice visit, but it's not worth a big detour.
The caves at Limousis are best reached by car up narrow windy roads - but they're worth the effort. Amazing natural caves that go deep into the rock and are complete with underground lakes, massive stalagtites and a huge natural crystal chandelier. Unfortunately you have to go into the caves with a guide, we were lucky to arrive just before... 更多
