Visited several times before, and usually very popular. Such a beautiful spot, clean, clear water, soft almost white sands. The dog loved running in and out the water, almost as much as we did. It is off the main road but well worth the short detour.
A bit of a drive but well worth it. Quiet peaceful, amazing scenery, lovely people. Not the place to go if your a sun worshiper. Weather changeable. But
When it's nice it's gorgeous. White sands and clear blue waters overlooking the small isles. Don't take the kids....will spoil it!!!
My work colleague had raved about this place for ages, since the forecast was good we headed up for a night of wild camping. It is truly one of the nicest beaches in Scotland. It was a united nations of campers and lived up to expectations in spectacular fashion. Well worth the long drive, we were lucky with the weather...
I visited Morar one Sunday afternoon after a long drive. What a disaster area this wonderful site has become. Despite warning signs and a profusion of nearby campites there were tents everywhere. Some even had fires burning on the once pristine coral sands. We stayed 5 minutes and left in disgust.
