This palace and its gardens are an excellent place to relax and look down over the town. The garden is well maintained and it is possible to sit there and enjoy the peace over a coffe or drink.
Every time I'm with friends or family in Sanlucar, we have a coffee and cake stop at the Palace garden. Such a beautiful place. Especially for people who like to make photographs.
Regret we were not able to take the guided tour while staying here. The building is fabulous and the staff most friendly - drop in for a coffee and cake even if just passing the town.
An ideal place to visit in the Barrio Alta (high part) or Sanlucar which offers fantastic views over Sanlucar, the river and national park. Before I start a note of warning: the address given on tripadvisor is not entirely correct, so neither are the directions given by Google Maps, which had us milling around for more than an hour without finding it! We visit the palace on our second day but sadly the enthusiastic guide who only spoke spanish did find it difficult to stop talking. After half an hour we had to ask to be let out as we were unable to explore independently of the guide and as we couldn't understand her. It is a shame that there is not... 更多
