We took the 4*4 and river trip. It lasted the morning.
We had hoped to see flamingos, but water extraction has left many mudflats dry and birdless. Which is a shame.
But the visit as a whole was great and quite breathtaking.
Getting the boat from Bajo de Guia is an excellent way of crossing to the Donana national park to pick up a guided tour by jeep or simply to have a stroll with a guide. The boat is equipped with a cafe/bar and the guide on the boat points out items of interest on the way to the stop off...
