Garden is available quite spacious, clean and beautiful. Besides the restaurant facilities are also available (with high prices), as well as a place to relax and play. A sense of comfort felt when a short break in this place.

My wife and I found and took a stroll around Happo-en during a day's walk in the south of Tokyo. It was during Sakura, and the cherry blossoms were out. I like it, but check it online before you go because the prices are high. Great location near the Shiroganedai subway station or take 7-minute taxi from Meguro Station or Shinagawa Station.
It is gorgeous indeed, and free. It's all there, the pond, the maples, the pines, the statues, the waterfalls, the immense koi carp,PLUS the amazing old bonsai.
