Very informative visit. This chapel is so beautiful both inside and outside! Lots of useful information about the men who built and painted it. On your way out back onto the main road it's worth popping into the Orkney wine shop. Free tasting of their wine and liqueurs!

We visited this as part of a tour. Such a lovely chapel and made with love. If in Orkney, it is must to visit. I would definitely recommend this. F
We noticed this as we drove from the ferry but weren't going to stop except a fellow B&B couple mentioned it was not to miss. The artistry inside is just amazing. The history behind it is wonderful.
a must to when in Orkney, I have been here dozens of times, and the cold shudder it gives me never goes away, a tranquil and lovely place, we always take a picture of an Italian car outside when we visit, this year was no exception
This is a must visit if you are in Kirkwall. The church itself is very small and there isn't much to do other than enjoy its unique and rich history. The chapel is very pretty and well maintained.
Just because it is a piece of history does not mean it is not fun and beautiful. During World war 2 the Italians were taken Prisoner’s . While they were there they wished to worship. The Scots let them build it and is still as beautiful as the day it was built.
