We didn't hire a car on this holiday and so apart from beach days, we decided to do some hiking. We were lucky to sign up the last free guided walk at the Tourist Information in front of the marina. The lady spoke English and German and took us past a gated Boquer family property, the stating point of the... 更多
This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Mallorca. The Cala de Boquer trail is a nice, easy hike with stunning views, approximately a 30 min walk to the ocean. Take the time to admire this beauty, sit down once you are near the ocean, smell the rosemary and enjoy the majestic scenery. A must see in Mallorca.... 更多

We kind of 'stumbled upon' this walk, which wasn't to taxing and we were only wearing trainers. Very dramatic scenery and some large raptor type birds over head (to far away to be identified by amateurs!). The day we went it was very busy with a constant flow of people enjoying the walk.
A good walk with fine views but the path is very stony and hard going without thick soled shoes. Mostly fairly level after the initial climb up to the pass.
look out for the car park. walk pass the sanctuary and long an easy but dramatic path to a small cove for one of the island's best sea views.
The walking route for the Boquer Valley starts at the car park just past the roundabout on the Ma-2200, but if you are coming from the Pine Walk I would recommend walking up Avinguda de Bocchoris especially if you are a birdwatcher. We saw Hoopoes, Chiffchaffs, Northern Wheatears and Redstarts along here. There was also a juvenile Red-backed Shrike on... 更多
