We were not expecting to visit this museum; Quinta Gameros was closed due to private party, ended up very happy with our alternative choice. Information is well-presented and interesting.
Enjoyed learning more about the revolution and Pancho Villa. Great artifacts including the car he was shot in. It gives you a great portrait of that time in history.
Pancho Villa is a Mexican icon in the revolution and this museum portraits not only his participation and assassination, but gives a lot of information of this historical period in Mexican history. The place is run by the army, and it is very well kept. Spotless clean, excellent maintenance. Less than a dollar to get in.
This is the house of famous Pancho Villa. Here you will learn a lot from Spanish or english guides who will show you many personal items from this Mexican revolutionary who is viewed like a thief or a hero depending on the person. The house was luxurious for the city standard of the time. With many fancy decorations and plenty... 更多
The last residence of one of Pancho Villa's 24 wives, and his home. An excellent collection of artifacts surrounding the life of Pancho Villa including the automobile he was driving when assassinated. Worth a visit
And I went to them all. Unbelievable value at 10 pesos and the English translations are often hysterical. One shows a photo of a group of women and says "this shows that women can be as dreadful as men". Another shows a picture of a Mexican woman bandelero armed to the teeth and comments that she was also good at... 更多
The museum is in the house that Pancho Villa and his wife lived in so that alone makes it interesting. It is in its original state and nicely preserved. While were were there a school group came through with the teachers all dressed up in revolutionary garb - it was great to see! The car that Villa was in when... 更多
This is a fascinating museum with many really good displays. Authentic photos regarding the revolution along with photos of all the important individuals who affected the revolution. Lots of displays of the weapons used during that time. There is an English translation on most displays. This museum was actually a home so you literally walk through the house and its... 更多
