This is a vast expanse of sand with the opportunity for parking on the beach so ideal for families with loads of equipment to carry. There are toilet facilities available and the cost for parking is low.
Have been visiting since a child. Love coming here for a picnic in the dunes and a walk along the beach. It was wet and windy on this visit but we still had fun and an ice cream from the van. We had the beach to ourselves for most of the visit and it was lovely. Nice views of Aberdyfi...
We had a brilliant walk on the beach here today, absolutely gorgeous and not overly packed with people.
You can park on the beach and then walk down.
The ice cream was great. Huge portions compared to most and average prices.
Would definitely recommend a trip here and we didn't even make it to the visitor centre as we went...
We love Ynylas Nature Reserve. It is Wales's best kept secret. We found it quite by accident last year but moved out caravan to a local park so we can come here regularly. It's fabulous for wal

Great that you can park on the beech, and for £2.00 for the day a bargain. The beech is ok but very muddy in places and not great for sandcastle building. Ideal for the dog he loved it. Toilets at the visitor centre come in very handy. A little shop and information centre very useful. Great walks. Can I say...
I absolutely love this place it is so expanse.
Plenty of information in the hut and loads of walking and great for dogs. The beach is stoned one side and sandy the other. Can drive onto beach
Wonderful day out again. Park on the sands and walk over the dunes to the lovely shallow waters of the sea overlooking Aberdovey on the other side of the estuary. Peaceful. Relaxing and fun for the kids. Nice clean toilets on the reserve with informative staff in the shop attached. Well worth a visit.
