Have been three or four times now. A wonderful piece of Manchester's history. So thankful for the National Trust keeping the mill running and showing the mill with working equipment. The Apprenticeship House is a must for all ages, educational and fun. Gardens are beautiful and we were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of Quarry Bank House that... 更多
A great place to visit especially if you have watched The Mill TV programme which was based on archives found when renovating the mill. It is a working mill and there is so much to see, we spent a whole day here. You can see the house where the apprentice lived with a really good tour guide . Real leeches... 更多
We had the most perfect wedding. The venue is beautiful and and there is something for everyone. Mandi and the team are incredible and will go above and beyond every step of the way. The food they make is 5 star quality and every single guest commented on this. I cant recommend this venue enough.
We are regular visitors to Quarry Bank Mill and love the place! It has developed over the years with more and more of the site being opened to visitors. At the moment, the Glasshouse is being restored and there are exciting plans to open the main house in the future. You can spend a few hours or whole day here... 更多
I visited here as part of a school trip and what a fantastic place it really is! There is a lot of ground to cover so be prepared for plenty walking. You can also bring your dog to the grounds if you wish to! We attended a workshop in the morning in which the children were allowed to play with... 更多
A very interesting place to visit, whether you're an adult or a child. The mill offers a fascinating insight into how it operated in the past and the Apprentice House is also very interesting. The location itself has much to offer with lovely grounds for walks. The large cafe offers great food that is reasonably priced. Lots for children to... 更多
We went here after dropping someone off at the airport as it is only 4 miles away (10 minutes by car). It was a lovely day and there were people picnicking in the grounds and by the car park. We booked our tickets for the Apprentice House Tour at the entrance. As it was 1pm our first port of call... 更多
Very informative displays about the history of the Mill. Really child friendly, lots of interactive displays and talks. My 2 children loved the talk at the school house, they got to dress in traditional school clothes. Great for a rainy or sunny day.
A great day out, free if you are in the National Trust. Really interesting to see a most fascinating part of Britains' Industrial heritage. Make sure you also visit the village, and If you have time visit the Apprentice House and also take a walk around the gardens. Can also be fitted in with lovely walks around Styal Woods
