We did this trip In June /July ,2016 as a round trip , our first in Kimberly( coming back from Broome to Darwin via the Northern Highway). The gibb rover road / Kimberley is now one of my favourite places on earth! Don't be put off or worried about doing it, I've been down worse dirt roads around my small town in Victoria! Just do it, you won't regret it !!
We managed twenty kilometers into the Gibb River Road from El Questro and the scenery was great but even with a four wheel drive the road was so bad we turned back. It is a spectacular place but you need to be well prepared and have a very tough vehicle.
We traveled from Darwin to Broome for the first time ever. Wow what an experience. We had never done any four wheel driving in our lives and found the whole trip to be the best holiday ever, so much to see and do. You need more than the 15 days we had to explore it all. We went with Bluey's... 更多

Parts of the drive from Coen to Bamaga in... 更多
What a great, hassle free way to see the sights of the Gibb River Road. My husband and I spent 12 fantastic nights with a great group of people and our delightful and knowledgable tour guides (Phil and Liz) touring this spectacular part of Australia. They went to great lengths to ensure we were comfortable and we ate very well.... 更多
The Munja track runs from Mount Elizabeth on the Gibb river road to the Walcott Inlet on the coast , This is private 4wd track and permission is required from mount Elisabeth. It is an interesting drive over a very rocky track with several jump ups. Bachsten bush camp is about 145km in and a good place to spend a... 更多

It definitely is a challenge and we were lucky to have a great tour guide/tour leader as well as a purpose-built bus (takes around 20 passengers). We were able to drive along at a very reasonably clip and... 更多
