This little village reminded me of a Scottish fishing village so felt right at home and loved exploring it. Visited a little craft shop then came upon a restaurant called Willeens run by Diana which had tables outside with a wonderful view of the beach. Great seafood or toasted sandwiches and a lovely place to enjoy some of the local... 更多

People are friendly. Houses are in their original form. Beautiful fishing village. We stopped at Wileens for drinks. it's a quaint restaurant offering fresh food. You can also buy local art by the locals.
One of the oldest, authentic & historic fisherman's villages in South Africa, a MUST visit. The people are friendly and when the fishing boats come in at around noon there is an abundance of fresh fish to choose from. Takes one back in time to see these informal fishermen applying their age old trade. Wonderful experience
We often have been to Kassiesbaai when we visited Arniston. A well preserved fishing village of the Coloured population. Very nice to walk around and to talk to the friendly local people.
Kassiesbaai is next to the hotel and slip/harbour for launching the fishing boats. We did not get a chance to eat at one of their local eateries, but will do so in future.
